A full moon highlights a motionless pond and surrounding trees and peaceful countryside in this monotone panoramic landscape with a touch of colour. The idea for this image came while looking at the moon a few nights ago then my imagination filled in the details.

My name is Kenneth Clarke and I am a self taught artist living in rural countryside in the north east of England. My artwork is influenced by my love of nature and a peaceful life near woodland area and meadow,s. I paint because it provides an outlet for my creativity and I find art very relaxing and tranquil. Peace and tranquillity can be seen in my ongoing series of black and white countryside landscapes. Tree,s, drystone walls and wooden fences feature in almost all my current work. Occasionally little mice playing or having fun feature in garden scenes.
