This painting was inspired by my own feelings when I retired from sport and felt lost till I discovered art. Focusing on my art helped me get over my divorce from bodybuilding and enter a new lease of life. Life is bright and colourfull.
About Kenneth Clarke
My name is Kenneth Clarke and I am a self taught artist living in rural countryside in the north east of England. My artwork is influenced by my love of nature and a peaceful life near woodland area and meadow,s. I paint because it provides an outlet for my creativity and I find art very relaxing and tranquil. Peace and tranquillity can be seen in my ongoing series of black and white countryside landscapes. Tree,s, drystone walls and wooden fences feature in almost all my current work. Occasionally little mice playing or having fun feature in garden scenes.
