I created this dramatic skyline painting when I was planning a trip to America. Unfortunatly the trip had to be cancelled so I painted what I thought was symbolic of America. To be honest I don,t know the full story about the Liberty statue. Maybe it is something I will look into.
My name is Kenneth Clarke and I am a self taught artist living in rural countryside in the north east of England. My artwork is influenced by my love of nature and a peaceful life near woodland area and meadow,s. I paint because it provides an outlet for my creativity and I find art very relaxing and tranquil. Peace and tranquillity can be seen in my ongoing series of black and white countryside landscapes. Tree,s, drystone walls and wooden fences feature in almost all my current work.
