This black and white landscape is part of a growing series of paintings inspired by my memories of childhood. I used to spend whole days round my allotment working my land and always had a few pets t keep me company. The original painting is available from The North East Art Collective, Eldon Garden, Newcastle Upon Tyne, England.
My name is Kenneth Clarke and I am a self taught artist living in rural countryside in the north east of England. My artwork is influenced by my love of nature and a peaceful life near woodland area and meadow,s. I paint because it provides an outlet for my creativity and I find art very relaxing and tranquil. Peace and tranquillity can be seen in my ongoing series of black and white countryside landscapes. Tree,s, drystone walls and wooden fences feature in almost all my current work. Occasionally little mice playing or having fun feature in garden scenes.
